Colour sample
Every colour in this program can be transferred into another program via the clipboard. An unimposing little function, that packs a wallop, due to the clipboard function all programs can work with any given colour.

Notes
Nothing is as complicated as the Windows clipboard! Although the function worked smoothly with Macintosh right from the beginning, our programmer had a hard nut to crack when trying to figure out the Windows version. There are numerous notepad formats which are the cause of the confusion. The insertion of the colour sample is in most cases possible by using “Ctrl+V”, but in the above mentioned Corel Draw 9 example this is not the case. In this case it has be done by using the menu “content insert“ option.
The transferred bitmap is 150 x 40 pixels. This size is just large enough in order to represent longer colour names in readable writing. The imported bitmap can also be scaled as soon as it is inserted.
The indicated RGB values correspond with the sRGB values as long as no further changes were undertaken in the “calibration” window.
