Saturation variation
How do I apply a muted or vivid colour? How do I strengthen the intensity
of the colour?
With the function "Saturation variation" you'll answer these questions not only generally but also for each colour system: Which blue hue is more vivid than RAL 5014 dove blue?
With several different grades of the saturation variation you will obtain a colour development that culminates in the same basic statement at its maximum intensity – a heightening, it absolutely has a certain inherent dramatic.

In painting a lot of experience is needed
in order to vary the colour intensity.
At the computer all it takes is pushing
a button.
The saturation variation is also referred to as the “saturation contrast” or “pure-dull contrast” in the literature. We prefer the term “variation” as the results do not contrast with each other, but rather lie next to each other, variations on a theme.
Short instructions
A window will appear in “Details” in which the results are consolidated in the concise form of an A4 page. This page can either be printed for documentation or the text can be copied out to send the saturation variation on via email, for example.

Vary dove blue!
Notes
The more colour tones are available in the desired system the better the calculation functions for the real colours. If the gap between the real colour and the ideal colour is too large then the real colour will no longer be indicated.
The RAL DESIGN SYSTEM is virtually predestined for the saturation variation as the CIELAB colour space is underlying our calculations, and is displayed in the original saturation variation. The herein horizontally arranged middle colours are exactly what our program calculates as saturation variations.
